Using the Trailing 12 Months (TTM) Form to value a business offers several advantages over relying solely on a calendar or fiscal year period, particularly for providing a real-time and more representative snapshot of a company’s performance.
Unlike a fiscal or calendar year view, TTM provides a continuously updated performance metric, including the most recent months.
